Oracle Training Programs |
| Traditional Classroom Training | Web-based Training Services |
SYS-ED's Oracle training programs utilize the full complement of training medium - traditional, web-based, and technology driven classrooms. The training programs provide an integrated learning sequence for acquiring expertise with Oracle software in hybrid operating environments: web servers, database administration, PL/1 SQL programming, and Java. The client organization selects the modules which comprise the training program which can then be tailored to specific training needs and operational objectives - workbench, visual interface, and proprietary and open source software. In order to accommodate employee workloads and staff in remote geographic locations, component courses can be scheduled over non consecutive weeks utilizing a combination classroom training and web-based distance-learning. At the client's discretion, validation assessment and a final examination can be utilized. Fast-track Oracle courses are also available through the New York schedule.
State of the Market -
Oracle and WebLogic BLS
Oracle Corporation has been aggressive in
acquiring technologies and increasing targeted software and hardware market
share. Accordingly,
significant changes in the Oracle product line are in the process of being
implemented. With the acquisition of BEA Systems, WLS: WebLogic Server is
being rebranded as Oracle WebLogic Application Server. Oracle's stated strategy is to make WebLogic Server its preferred application
server. Complementary components from Oracle Application Server along with WebLogic Operations Control from BEA and Coherence from Tangosol
will be
integrated into WebLogic Server. BEA products will be incrementally redesigned
to integrate with Oracle Fusion Middleware over the next twelve to eighteen
months.
The long term plans associated with its acquisition of Sun Microsystems and plans for the software - open source Solaris, Java, and MySQL has not been publicly stated.
Tailoring an
Oracle Training Program
Additional Oracle, WebLogic, Java, UNIX, and Solaris courses and interrelated information technology subject
matter can be researched using the search engine.
The audience, duration, and content can be used as a starting point to augment an Oracle training program or to evaluate a fast-track course.
